Days 208-209

Friday: Rest day. Saturday: 5km on the treadmill, with 7 x 30 seconds hard (reaching 4:45 min/km!!!) with 2 minute jogs. Good effort.

Days 201-207: Still struggling!

Friday: My left knee is stiff and sore – probably arthritis! Rest day to see if that helps. Saturday: Knee still dodgy, but strangely enough, it’s OK when I’m running! Express Fit today – that’s it! Our focus was mostly on core work, using the Swiss Ball – planks, wall sits and leg-raises. Had a good stretch afterwards, and I intend to stretch again tonight.

Day 180

The weather forecast was for ‘not much wind’ – well, not so much….. I felt sluggish running into the northerly, but finished strongly.
