Days 95-98

Thursday: a morning jog on the beach, about half an hour, didn’t feel as ‘easy’ as I would have expected. Then the Express Fit later that morning was extremely hard work – I guess just a bad day – feeling flat and low on energy.

I decided to take a couple of days off from exercise – apart from a short jog to Kilbirnie Park on Saturday morning to get me to cricket on time!

Today I returned to the Marathon Clinic for the first time in ages! I was nervous about keeping up with the 6:30-6:45 pack, but I managed OK. Most of us were doing 7 minute kms into the wind by the last third of the run. All up I ran about 21km – had aimed at 22km, but it’s just a number, right?

Very sore and achy afterwards – but that will go with a good night’s sleep.
